Hello! My name is Kylie Fjeld. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Social Science. I earned my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy, from Grand Canyon University in 2021. I began my career as a Marriage and Family Therapist that same year and transitioned into a school setting in 2023. I have counseled families, couples, children, teens, young adults, and adults in both school-based and private practice settings.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist and School-Based Therapist, I have worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship and friendship difficulties, questions of faith, and many other challenges. I believe no issue is impossible to work through together. Working in a school-based setting is a passion of mine. I strive to help my young clients discover the best versions of themselves, reach their goals, and build confidence throughout the school year and beyond. I hope my space feels safe, comforting, and hopeful.
In my free time, I enjoy being with my husband and daughter. We love hiking, camping, the east coast fall season, beach trips, visiting national parks, and exploring new states. I have eight states left to visit before reaching all 50. My favorite park is Glacier in Montana. My hobbies are finding new coffee shops, playing tennis, Peloton workouts, and jamming out to Taylor Swift. I find my therapy through laughter, self-care, health, travel, family, and church.
