Hope resides within even the most difficult of circumstances. Hope inspires us to look for new ways to meet challenges, manage struggles, and begin healing. At Restore Counseling Services, we always begin with Hope.

Restore Counseling Services joins children, teens and their families in their journey toward improved mental health, helping them be their best selves. You may find yourself or someone you love struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, or peer issues. Maybe you’re finding it’s a struggle to like who you are, or the choices that you’ve made. If you, your child or teen, or a student you work with is struggling, let’s connect.

At Restore Counseling, we take an all-encompassing view of each individual and explore their strengths, family history, support systems, community, and challenges. At the elementary school level, we focus on early identification of a child’s academic, social, and/or personal challenges. We are committed to helping teens begin and maintain their unique healing journey, in this moment, wherever they are. In both settings, we align ourselves with parents, educators and the student to engage in strategies that will remove learning barriers, promote academic success and bring healing to mental health issues. We are dedicated to seeing individuals be restored to their amazing selves, embracing each day with real coping strategies, positivity and improved social well-being.

Our Team

Adriane Sweigart, L. C. S. W.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I am trained to take a holistic approach to healing. That’s really just a fancy way to say that I help you look at and focus on everything that makes you, you. And you are not just your diagnosis or symptoms. Healing is hard. Change is hard. But they are within reach. That’s why I am driven to do what I do. I work with individuals to make that easier by creating a safe place to explore strengths, family history, support systems, community, and barriers. Together we walk the journey to healing and change, whatever that may look like.

I graduated with a social work degree from Messiah College and a Masters of Social Work degree with a clinical focus from Temple University. I’ve worked in various settings throughout the years including working with children in the foster care system and adoption settings. I have been working in the outpatient therapy setting since 2008. I’ve worked with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, anger issues, grief and loss, divorce, suicidal thoughts, and relationship struggles. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma informed care, and mindfulness. I teach skills that assist in managing relationships, building self-esteem and identifying and regulating emotions.

The laid back, relaxed environment clients find with Restore Counseling, is really an extension of who I am. When I’m not at work you can find me on the beach, enjoying music, movies, and playing sports with my son. I love to laugh and others would say that I can be goofy, which I don’t mind because I enjoy being myself and seeing others smile. I can’t wait to meet you!

"Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall". (Confucius)

In other words, life can be challenging, and often may even be described as “overwhelming”, but change is possible and attainable with support, guidance, hope, and most of all, healing.

My name is Kathy, and I am a licensed clinical social worker. My commitment to you is to provide a safe, supportive, non-judgmental, and empathetic environment so that we can work together to achieve healing and change.

I graduated with a degree in social work from Stonybrook University and a Master of Social Work with a clinical emphasis from Adelphi University. I have worked with clients who have experienced depression, anxiety, end of life issues, child loss, PTSD, OCD, trauma, foster care, anger issues, self-harming issues, divorce, and relational issues. I specialize in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma, anxiety, and mindfulness.

When I am not working, I am enjoying my time with my family and friends, reading, laughing, listening to music, or obsessing over my new favorite series (LOL!).

I look forward to meeting you!

Jim Cox, MS, LPC

My interests include complex trauma, parenting, depression, anxiety, diversity issues, grief, and teenagers struggling to survive in this world. I am educated in using an eclectic therapeutic approach to meet clients where they are in their journey.

I see myself as a therapist who walks alongside my clients instead of one who leads. I believe in treating all with unconditional positive regard and providing a place of safety for clients so they can begin their journey towards healing.

Jessica Gajewski, MS

Hi I’m Jess! As a therapist, I have worked with children and adolescents who experience anxiety, depression, anger, adoption, divorce, family/relationship issues, and poor social skills. I provide and encourage healthy communication and listening in a cozy, safe, and judgement-free environment.

I am happy to be a School-Based Therapist, working with students grades 5-12 in the Ephrata Area School District since 2015. I earned my Master’s in school counseling K-12 from Kutztown University. I am also currently in the process of earning my License in Professional Counseling (LPC) under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist and alongside my talented team of therapists at Restore Counseling.

When I am not working, my personal time is spent with my family and friends and teaching at a dance studio. I am also a lover of animals, music, and the beach.

I look forward to assisting your child in becoming their best self!

We are not meant to walk alone with our burdens. Let’s discover some ways to start anew to a better, healthier, happier you!

I graduated with a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in school counseling from Kutztown University. As for me, I have always felt a calling to help others. I love what I do! I try to practice living in the moment. I enjoy humor, cliché quotes, and laughter. I’m a good communicator, good listener, and reliable ally. I like to paint and craft. I’m a Marvel and Star Wars fan and I love dessert! Being with my family is when I’m my happiest.

I’m so glad you’re here. Thanks for taking this step for a better you! I look forward to meeting you!
