Hello there! My name is Dena and I am so excited to welcome you. I am a person-centered, humanistic counselor who meets clients where they are in the present moment. I am here to meet you with acceptance, warmth, and empathy to embark on the therapeutic process. Together challenges are identified and explored, and change is created. I am here for every step along the way as you venture towards healing. My approach is integrated and dynamic, and I pull from various modalities. I enjoy blends of cognitive behavioral, psychotherapy, narrative, and here-and-now practices.
I am a graduate of Kutztown University and hold a master’s in Professional School Counseling with Licensure. I am working on licensure hours with the supervision of the Restore Counseling team to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Before joining Restore Counseling, I worked as a Professional School Counselor in both the high school and middle school setting for seven years. I worked in both rural and suburban environments in different parts of the country; I supported the academic, personal, and social needs of those I served, conducting individual and small group counseling, as well as large group instruction. I have experience targeting the areas of stress reduction, suicidal thoughts, identity development, family changes, grief and loss, healthy lifestyles, executive functioning, sadness/depression, body and self-image, and feeling and emotional awareness.
My current role as a school-based therapist for Ephrata Area School District has allowed me to expand on my experience and provide trauma-informed care and healing to young clients. When I am not at work I can be found outside, preferably hiking or paddling, traveling, or at the nearest coffee shop.

“Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you, doesn’t mean you can, should, or need to do it alone.” Lisa Olivera
As the Administrative Assistant and Medical Biller at Restore Counseling Services, I have the pleasure of being the first person to interface with our new clients. I find joy in aiding them to get the support and help they deserve to achieve their mental health goals. At Restore I handle new patient inquiries, insurance eligibility and benefit verifications, and submissions of medical claims.
When not at work, I unwind by spending time with family and friends. I was raised by the motto “LOVE is spelled T-I-M-E” and I choose to invest that time with the people that mean the most to me. My other great love in life is books. I can fall into books, and in them, live out my wildest dreams and experience the greatest adventures.
As the Administrative Assistant at Restore Counseling Services, I will be the first voice on the other end of the phone in your journey. With over 20 years in the admin field, I will go above and beyond to aid in making the process for you as smooth as possible. I love interacting with our new and existing clients as they reach their therapy goals. My role at Restore is to assist our new patients with insurance eligibility and benefit verifications as well as therapist assignments. We will work together to ensure you are successful!
In my spare time, I love hanging out with my family and furbaby. I enjoy reading, a good Netflix series, watching the Eagles and Phillies, and cheering my children on with all of their life goals! Yes, I’m the mom on the sideline yelling the whole time.
I’m Rose, bringing to Restore 15 years of experience in improving operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and compliance with healthcare regulations. At Restore I handle new patient inquiries, insurance eligibility and benefit verifications, submissions of medical claims, credentialing of therapists and work as a liaison between Administrative and Clinical departments and patients.
Outside of the office my time is filled with nature, my dog and enjoying the simple things in life.
I look forward to assisting you along your journey.
I have worked in an office setting for over 20 years. My administrative roles at Restore Counseling Services, LLC include new patient inquiries, credentialing of therapists, insurance eligibility and benefit verifications, and submissions of medical claims.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. We really enjoy boating together on Norris Lake in TN. Over the years, I have enjoyed cheering on my children in their various activities. I also enjoy shopping, getting facials and massages, watching movies, and reading books.
