How Do I Schedule School-Based Therapy for my Student?
Scheduling an appointment for your student is easy. We are ready to assist you!
- Complete a referral form. You may reach out to a school counselor for a referral form or contact us directly at info@restorecounselingservice.com. Please include front and back images of your insurance card with your referral form.
- Complete an intake for the student. Upon receipt of your referral form, we will contact you to schedule an initial appointment called an intake. The intake appointment is like an introduction; it is an opportunity for us to get to know the student’s background and the challenges he or she is experiencing. An intake appointment can take place in person or virtually, whichever is more convenient.
- Schedule with a therapist. Once the intake is completed, we will schedule the student with a therapist. You may also reach out directly to a therapist on the Eastern Lancaster County School District team to schedule an appointment after your intake is complete.

I am a Licensed Social Worker, working toward my LCSW. I’m a graduate of Kutztown University; I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s in social work with a concentration in families & communities. I have worked with individuals, families, and groups in various settings— schools, residential treatment, and traditional outpatient. I have experience helping people of all ages with reducing anxiety, increasing self-efficacy, and overcoming barriers. My practice is trauma-informed, and I pull strategies and concepts from a variety of modalities to best fit the needs of each person. My therapeutic approach is holistic, and my perspective is that healing happens when we feel nurtured, supported, and empowered in a safe and trusting environment.
I think it’s important to know a little bit about your therapist! In my personal life, I enjoy hiking, indoor rock climbing, spending time with my friends and family, cooking, and snuggling with my cat. I particularly enjoy reading and talking about books and poetry. I’ve learned that life is a wild and precious journey, and I’m honored to be a part of helping others through it. I’m grateful to be here at Restore, and I can’t wait to meet you!

Hello I'm Stephanie!
I have my master's degree and bachelor's degree in psychology which I obtained through Southern New Hampshire University. I am currently finishing up additional credits needed to work toward my LPC through Pennsylvania Western University. I have worked in a variety of environments and various populations. My most recent experience includes working as a restorative practice coach in an elementary school. I am passionate about working with children! I enjoy helping them understand big feelings and how to manage them in a healthier way.
I am committed to providing an environment that feels safe while providing guidance and healing. I enjoy developing creative ways for clients to better understand their feelings and coping skills. This includes posters, games, art, projects, and books.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, sewing, crafting, reading and cheering on my children in their love of dance.

Hi! I’m Cassandra Hoover, a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor working towards my professional license. I utilize a variety of approaches in therapy which include but are not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, applied behavior analysis, motivational interviewing, person centered and narrative therapy. I also believe that sometimes it is important to look at family patterns and the family more holistically, as that can allow individuals to gain more insight about themselves. I also take a trauma-focused, culturally sensitive, and strength-based approach when working with all my clients to support them with their therapeutic goals.
I graduated with my master's degree in counseling with a concentration in school counseling from Messiah University in 2024. Most of my clinical experience involves counseling children from ages 2 to 18. However, I have also worked to support caregivers and teachers. I always take a collaborative approach to counseling; you are the expert of your life, and together we can work through the issues that life throws at you. I have experience working with individuals with Autism, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity disorder, and Post-traumatic Stress disorder diagnoses. I also have experience working with individuals through grief and loss, anxiety, behavioral issues, depression, anger management, and emotional disturbances. I have also worked with individuals who have been adopted, are in the process of being adopted, are in foster care, and are living in alternative placements such as a guardianship with family members.I am always looking for opportunities to grow and explore better ways to support my clients.
Outside the office I enjoy spending time with my family as I have some nieces and nephews and am looking forward to beginning my journey as a married individual. I also enjoy being involved in my church community, traveling, hunting, and exploring new places. My family would say I am very creative and enjoy making new projects. I am excited to meet you, and I look forward to being part of your journey.
