Hello, my name is Nyasha! I graduated from Lancaster Bible College with a Master’s Degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling in 2023. I am working on licensure hours with the supervision of the supportive Restore Counseling team to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). As a therapist, I am privileged to meet people where they are through empathy, compassion, and acceptance. I strive to provide a relaxed and welcoming environment for people to be vulnerable and safe to talk about the hard things in life as we embark on the therapeutic process together. I enjoy blends of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and attachment theory to assist you in reaching your goals.
I have practiced therapy in outpatient settings, college campuses, and now in the school system as a School-Based Therapist for the Ephrata Area School District. I have experience treating anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, self-esteem issues, ADHD, grief, trauma, and a variety of other areas. I have worked with children, teens, and adults to provide individual and couple therapy.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and volunteering with my church. Understanding how difficult life can be, I consider it an honor to walk alongside people to find healing and the ability to live to their fullest potential. I look forward to meeting and walking with you!
